6. Law of Attraction
Please read the universal laws overview page first to have an overall perspective before embarking on each law separately, it will just make more sense.
Simply stated, the Law of Attraction says that we attract into our lives that upon which we have placed our dominant thoughts and/or belief systems about ourselves in us (which are just crystallised thoughts or belief systems in your energy body). In other words, if we are predominantly positive, and or believe in abundance, solutions and positive outcomes then that is exactly what we will attract back into our lives. Nice! Of course the converse is also true, focus on lack, scarcity, not entitled to, etc. you will attract that into your life.
The quicker you learn this law in conjunction with the other Universal Laws, the easier it becomes for you. Please read the article on this web site on “Quantum Physics” to see how this actually works in your life and how you can use this Quantum field to help you to attract what you want.
Please refer to further articles of “The Subconscious Mind” and the “Law of Belief Systems” on this website, to understand where and how your thought patterns / belief systems come about and how they run your life. Understand that you are already attracting things into your life (your current life situation) because you already have this power and have programmed yourself already. If it is working for you, then great, if not then change your thought patterns / belief systems, which will automatically change what it is that you attract into your life. Remember, YOU put the thought pattern / belief system there – probably unconsciously (that is why it is called the subconscious) at some point in time. If they serve you, then that is good and well. If they do not serve you, then YOU need to find them, undo them and replace them with something else so that they can then serve you in the way you intend i.e. a positive way.
There is a dangerous flip-side to this law however. When we focus on lack, problems and negative outcomes and are afraid or fearsome, then that is exactly what we will attract to us. A secret given to you free is: "We become what we think or believe about most of the time!"
This “secret” aligns perfectly with the Law of Attraction and acts as a constant reminder that we must learn to control or manage our thoughts. Truthfully, our own thoughts (when thought many times over unconsciously), becomes our own belief system. They are the only things in life that we have complete control over. We can change them at any time. The challenge is to take control and not let them run unconsciously and attract all the negativity into your life.
Look at your own life to see how the Law of Attraction plays out. In reading the article on belief systems one can see almost how innocently we put belief systems in place. It all starts with the way we thought at the time we made the decision about our belief. Our negative thought patterns attract negative experiences.
Have you ever thought why it is that you attract the same kind of relationship? This is the law of attraction acting out in your life.
These experiences then put us in a negative frame of mind, which works to attract further "bad" situations or relationships to us. The more we focus on the "bad" we are having, the worse things get! Conversely, if we change our belief systems (you have to change them first) into our positive thought patterns then we will attract positive experiences! This is how it works! it is not possible to simply override negative belief systems within you, you have to see them, understand them and resolve them first then the new can come in. It cannot work the other way around - how would your learning and growing ever take place if you could?
The solution is to change our frame of reference. Take the negative emotions and change them to be either positive or at least neutral. Look for the lesson in every situation. Learning to laugh at oneself is another great way to change our reference point. If we break the cycle of negativity, things will begin to turn around almost immediately.
In working, analyzing and scrubbing yourself clean of old useless negative belief systems, as mentioned in the belief systems article, it is a good idea to replace them with new positive ones. What helps a lot is to place your list of positive belief systems somewhere in your home, where you will see it every day – say on your mirror, the fridge, behind the loo door. Anywhere where you will see it subconsciously or consciously everyday, will assist you with them becoming embedded in your subconscious. When it is embedded there, then you will start attracting what you placed there. Remember, you must first get rid of the old belief systems before adding the new. This is the secret about the secret.
What You Can Do
There are a few things that you can start doing immediately that will help you to harness the awesome power of the Law of Attraction:
Positive thinking on it’s own will not solve all of your problems, contrary to popular belief, you have to do the internal work first, and then you will learn and grow. this will automatically result in you attracting positivity into your life. This is one of a series of things that we all have the power over to do and change within, and to implement, which will get us on the path to leading the life we want.

What You Can Do

- Do an honest inventory of your belief systems. If you struggle with this, get someone to help you. Try and find the source of them. When you do, you then gain a full understanding of them and all their permutations, together with their impact in your life. To assist you ask yourself the question: "Do I focus on Lack or Abundance, or stated another way “Am I problem-focused or solution-focused”? If you answered “Lack / Problems”, then search for those thought patterns - it will be the best investment you can make.
- Take full responsibility for originally placing them on yourself. Look around in your life to see where your thought pattern is reflected.
- Take full responsibility for whatever is happening in your life, be it good or bad. You have attracted the good as well as the bad, so taking responsibility will allow you to make the choice to change your thinking and belief system. Then set out to immediately change your frame of reference on the negative and see where you can strengthen or change it to the positive.
- Write up this new list and place it somewhere where you will see it everyday. This way it will become part of your subconscious and then you can guess what comes next.
